I was trying to draw a fantasy city of my own on MS Paint.

I love this thank you it will save table space as we play at a comic book store and when everyone is there our table shrinks. Lol. This is perfect unless I over looked it I did not see spell slots.

This video made me really interested in doing this for myself, but I trust gaffers tape much more than masking tape in terms of durability, so I did a little test. I found that the gaffers tape holds quite well on chipboard actually. We might have used different chipboard or something, but for me, the gaffers tape held so well that forcefully ripping it off tore a layer of chipboard up with it. The other tape I tested was book repair tape, which feels similar to gaffers tape, but it actually sticks even stronger to the chipboard. I think I'm going to use that, but what was your experience with gaffers tape? Does it lose it's grip on the chipboard over time or anything like that? I just want to make something that will last years, hopefully. Either way, this is an awesome video, very inspiring, and I'm excited to make one for myself.

I would love to see a video where you translate the map to actual play. Do you draw a smaller map for minis when players are actually playing, or do you just use the smaller map and your imagination?

It’s very hard. I did it once with a simple system. d6 pool roll under 4 for success. Was very successful with my friends. Fits on 2 pages. We played it 30+ times. 76 characters created and played for this game already. I am trying to come up with a second edition. Scraped an 80% ready version last year. Started all over last week. Never give up 😁

How long to dry?

One I like is having a kid on a tree branch munching on an apple, but it is bandit territory. Kid is a scout for the bandits and has a signal to indicate a ripe target. If PCs are well armed, the kid just chats up tge party, maybe asks to walk along for a while, but knows that the party is too dangerous for his gang. Great source of information for the party if they're on the ball.

Out of curiosity, how does one convince you to talk about one's ttrpg game?

I found this video at random and I know this was released a year ago. I do like the esthetic, but I've found that you want to have your dungeons already constructed in some way. I don't really want to spend time, fiddling with each room, laying out 10-20 pieces every time the party goes somewhere new.

Can personally recommend this game. Very cool to see a new module for it!

In the 80's, the f/x in the first 50 seconds would have cost millions of dollars and taken weeks to produce. These days, you can do it like Ray recorded the theme song, at home for next to nothing, relatively speaking. And you don't even need the high dollar studio he had. What a crazy world we live in.
